According to a report from KCTV 5, several people were hurt in a hit-and-run crash in Kansas City. A White Dodge Ram 1500 was the vehicle that fled the scene of the crash. As confirmed by KCTV 5, Several people were hospitalized with critical injuries after a serious car crash in Kansas City. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD)  responded to the intersection of East 24th Street and Jackson Avenue. Investigators say a gold sedan attempted to pass a white Dodge 1500 as it turned left. The vehicles collided, and the sedan struck a utility pole. The Dodge left the scene. The sedan’s driver and two rear passengers were critically hurt. KCPD is reportedly actively searching for the Dodge and its driver.
