The Kansas City Police Department is actively investigating a serious collision that happened on the evening of Saturday, August 2, right next to the intersection of 75th Street and James A. Reed Road. Emergency crews from the Kansas City Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. When they arrived, they found a severely damaged vehicle and one minor trapped inside the car. Firefighters were able to extricate the victim. One of the young victims was listed in critical condition.
